    ripped IBT Belt on c2636

This week the IBT Belt was ripped two times. What could be the cause of that problem. Anybody faced the same problem?

Did you follow Belt Edge Learn procedure after changing IBT?

Besides the obvious setup errors, I've had a bent Blanking lamp support rail pinching the belt causing breakage. Since the customer changes black most often it's the first area to suspect customer error

    Hello, bojans.
Yes, i did this procedure. After replacing the belt the printer printed about 500 sheets and then ibt belt ripped again.
Ibt belt costs about 600$ and i must be a 100% sure before replace new one again.

Never had that kind of problem. Check IBT assy and check what CopierTechofOmens suggested.

Today I did Belt Edge Learn procedure. ( I made pictures, possible it helps.) The belt seems to be too left to compare A and B (attached picture )

If you suspect the belt is moving too far to one side check the Belt steering motor is turning as it operates.

Motor operates fine. I shift belt to the right before starting belt edge learn procedure. The belt moved to the left and kept this position. And I saw steering motor operated a bit CCW and then CW a few times. I understand it keeps belt in that position. I think if the Belt edge learn is succesful, the motor and belt edge sensor are fine?
