    DC250 transfer belt reset URGENT

    Hi there guys, I have removed the mechanism where transfer belt is, and i have rotated the transfer belt i have done some cleaning, but now i got the error code that i need to re position or to center the transfer belt and i don't have a clue how to find the spot where it should be centered please can someone help me how to reset the transfer belt and start working again. thank you.

    you put upside down (rotate, search patch and home position sensor) or not centered (manually center and then "edge belt learning" procedure).

    I had this error 042-326, but doing a little exploring around the internet and on the manual, i have managed to find the solution, it was simple just position the reflective mark in the up side of the mechanism and it worked, and i cleaned the reflective mark not to forget, it works good, hope it doesn't get again the error. Anyway thank you very much.

    you need to clarify; a dc250 (black and white) does'nt have a transfer belt. A DCC250 (color machine) does. not being nasty here; but the more and correct info the better

    Well DC250 means docucolor250 at least that is writen in my machine, i have never heard of dc250 black and white printer. anyway i have fixed the problem thanks.

    you have to love the non generic side of the planet don't you?? with dc in the bottom of the planet means docucentre. dcc means docucentre colour. gotta love it NOT!
