    Xerox 252 Black copies

    when I print everything comes out perfect
    when you copy in single color CMY come out perfect
    when you copy in black only the image is distorted
    replaced the CCD and calibrated and nothing
    tried different image settings and nothing
    anyone got any ideas
    already replaced IBT ASM ,Developer and drum Housings ,reloaded latest software
    did auto gradation

    Is it safe to assume that when you print cmyk, and also print single k, that k is ok? And when you copy cmyk, the k is "distorted"? If the answer is yes to both questions, and you've changed the ccd, then I would replace the castors.


    What do you mean distorted? "Electrical noise looking" or wavey lines, or what? Did this happen after some incident? Like maybe fooling around with whatever magic box (mcu maybe if their is one) receives the ccd info?
