    Xerox color qube 8870

    Hi,
    I am working on a color qube 8870. The machine is displaying error 94,000.00:0 on power up, i have searched for the code but had no joy.
    Has anyone had this problem before?

    The 94,000 error code is to do with the drum maintenance. At which point of the Power Up cycle does this message show up. Could be the drum is not getting hot enough.

    The message appears on power up and wont come to ready.

    I have removed all Sticks and replaced with new. The message is now error 93,969.00:0, any ideas please?

    You are sure you use the correct ink stick for this machine ? Black is your nightmare.
    You need newer service manual and follow the proper procedures.

    ONLY if fault is 94,000 (not 94,xxx) and reboots. Replace Electronics Module. Last I heard, Xerox is still "looking into it" but as of right now, it is the only fix.
