Question Something strange with MAGENTA on WC7328

    normal-original.jpgbad-copy.jpg

    Dear Sirs,
please take a look at attached picture - WTF can it be? We've installed new drums (print cartridges A1-A4), toner cartridges, cleaned leds... Any ideas, please! The problem is the same when printing from PC and when copying from top glass.
Hope for your help very much!

    Regards,
    Ilia

What leds did you cleaned ?
It's toner starvation on the magenta developer house. Check magenta toner transportation mechanism, magenta developer and magenta developer assy.

    Thanks a lot!
If I understood you right, I should check the developer, located under the magenta drum (print cartridge A3)? Also I should check the way of toner from tube to this developer?
Can you say, how to get to developer?I don't have service manual for WC7328 and can't imagine how to get developer without total machine's disassembly

I have service manual but in edoc format. You need pws software for using edoc.
Call a tech or if you want to selfservice the machine you absolutely need the service manual.

It is probably a stripped gear on the magenta developer housing. That's why you're getting the "barber pole" effect.

A friend have a 7328 with the same problem on Cyan. Called the service tech... they told him that's a corona wire problem.
