Xerox workcentre 4250 turns on then turns off

Hello mates.. problem im having is my xerox warms up and Right as I goes Into standby it turns off. Then trys warming upOver ans over.What could this be?

First thing, is this machine networked for printing?

If it is, disconnect the network cable from the machine and try booting it up.

If it then boots up fine, remove all print jobs from the print queue on the network.

A corrupt print job can cause the exact symptom you are describing. (also possibly a wrong or bad print driver the customer is using)

When I run into this problem in the field, I also connect to the machine with my laptop and a crossover cable to prove to the customer that it is able to accept print jobs from my computer with no problem.

If that's not it let us know.
