Xerox 7655 - no scan icon after changing of NVM board and batterty - NO SIM
Had problems with yellow nvm battery and board, after case is closed, no scan icon on machine, only copy icon...
To be more unlucky, I am 2nd owner of machine, no sim card in tray 1 or 2 :-(
Is there any other option to enable this scaning ? except to order it from Xerox, I suppose price will be high.... must check this also...
I manage to find a guy with same machine, borrowed his sim, but machine said its not right sim....
Any idea?

Try first logging on to the machine's web user interface (enter machine's IP address in a web browser on the network) log on as the administrator
login: admin, password:1111
Check services, scan icon might just be turned off.
