WorkCentre 7345 problem with open cover/door

    Hi!

I have issues with my WorkCentre 7345. It’s been offline for a couple of months and it worked perfectly before we shut it down.

"Close the top cover on the left side of the machine" (001-300)

Anyone got an ideas? I have of course tried opening and closing the cover several times with no success.

    Thanks

    /joakim

Open the left door. Look toward the back upper area on the door assembly. There is supposed to be a black plastic door switch actuator mounted there. This part has 2 plastic prongs that stick out and actuate the door switches when the door is closed (the switches are mounted on the machine side). Often times one of these prongs can break off. If one or both of the prongs are broken off of yours, order and replace this actuator (very easy to do, I think its only held in place with one screw). The part # is 011E10711 (Interlock actuator).

Ahh, now I see. You are correct. Thank you!
