    Question XEROX 7245 ERROR 009-390

    Dear all,

    we have this machine after replacing the toner the machine gives the error 009-390 and touchscreen dose not work too, any ideas what to do?????

    The manual says this...
    DescriptionThe Control Logic did not detect New Cartridge Detect Switch engagement to reset the Accumulative Dispense time NVM value to 0 when a new cartridge was installed.

    Initial Action

    • Re-install the Toner Cartridge ensuring that the Dispense Motor and the Toner Cartridge is engaged.
    • Check that the New/Old Detection Switch (metal part) at the rear of the Toner Cartridge is raised. If the New/Old Detection Switch is not raised, lift it up, then set NVM location 752-686 (Accumulative Dispense Time Value K) to 0.
    • Check that the Dispense Motor is operating; check Component Control [009-004, Dispense Motor (K)].

    I think,you will need to replace K developer and K dev housing and reset NVM 752-686 / 0
