Smash it on a wall !
Put the hdd into a computer and low level format it. It's much safe in this way.

Solution : Perform an On Demand Image Overwrite
The On Demand Overwrite feature provides the ability to overwrite the machine's hard disk to protect classified or private information.
The machine's hard disk stores data similar to the way a hard drive functions on a personal computer, but with the data encrypted for extra protection. When Print, Copy, E-mail, Internet Fax and Scan jobs are submitted to the printer, information is stored on the hard disk (if these features are installed and configured on the machine).
The On Demand Overwrite feature can be used by a System Administrator to overwrite the image data. Depending on the option selected, the process can take anywhere from 15 - 60 minutes to complete. The machine is taken offline until the overwrite is complete and any existing jobs in the print queue are terminated.
NOTE: All existing jobs, regardless of their status, will be deleted and all job submission will be prohibited for the duration of the overwrite. The power ON / OFF button will be ignored during image overwrite.
- Access the Tools menu on the Touch Screen. See the Related Items below for additional information.
- Select the [More] button. If the Optional Services button is displayed, select that button. If the Optional Services button is not displayed, select the [More] button again.
- Select the [On Demand Image Overwrite] button.
- Select either [Standard Image Overwrite] or [Full Image Overwrite].
- Select the [Start] button on the Touch Screen. A screen will be displayed to confirm that this procedure will delete image data from the hard disks. Any existing jobs in the queue will be deleted. The machine will be taken offline and will be unable to receive any incoming jobs. Internet Services will not be available until the machine reboots and comes back online.
- Following completion of the On Demand Overwrite, a Confirmation Report will print. Make sure the overwrite has completed by checking under the Job Information section of the Confirmation Details heading. The Status ESS Disk should read 'Success' and the Status Image Disk should read 'Success.'
