Always you must indicate where the lead edge is.
The most common reasons for this white line is the dirty ROS ( laser ) window or dirty into developer house and line into developer material from developer roll.
These are true if you see same defect on the IBT belt
For me looks like dirty ROS window.
I agree, clean the ROS.
Thanks.
I already clean and change ROS and I change every developer and clean dev blocks.
Is this the situation you must check where the line appear first. Print separate colors C,M,Y,K, 40% densities and check how the image looks on every drum and how it looks on IBT for every color. You must panic stop the copier to do these checkings. If these IBT images are clean then look at the 2nd BTR for wear
The dirt is on the inside mirrors of the ROS.
It does look like a dirty ROS window to me as well.
You'll need to give us a bit more information to go on though.
1. Do the void areas show up on all colors? C,M,Y,K (run test patterns for each)
2. If you are only getting it one 1 color did you:
a. Clean the ROS window for that color (remove the drum drawer and IBT and really get in there to look at the ROS window from under the ROS)
b. You said you replaced the developer, did you also replace the developer housing for that color?
c. Have you inspected the 1st IBT roller for that color?
3. If the voids show up on all colors, what is the condition of the IBT and the 2nd BTR?
I will try to open and clean the ROS.
clean inside ROS mirrors
