customer says every now and then the machine will start printing blank copies when doing a job and would likely empty the tray if they didnt stop it. Error code history shows 305.966.00 but that error doesnt seem to be in the book and the one before it is about reg errors when duplexing...nothing with blank pages when doing one sided copies..

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it....and
if this was an easy thing to do then everybody would be doing it! But it isn't and they are not!!
Print duplex test pages from machine service menu to see if the error came from machine or from computer net or print driver.
Sounds to me like they are using either the wrong print driver or a corrupt print driver. Have them delete their old driver and install the machine specific PLC6 or PS driver.
