hi friends i have a 5665 xerox fuser came with his walk in good condition and with a good percentage of life. this morning I Remark that it signal me to change fuser, and I have changed several times Fuser but the message is the same

When you select machine status button, supplies, how much life does it show is on the fusing unit?
Are you sure you are using the correct fusing unit? There are 2 different types. There is one for the 5632-5655 (low speed) and one for the 5665-5687 (high speed)

Check the condition of the small connector on the back of the fusing unit (This is the CRUM that keeps fuser life data) and the connector on the copier behind the fusing unit where this connector fits into. (make sure no paper is stuck in it or that it is not damaged)

Not corect. Software version is something like 21.113.02.xxx or 21.120.60.xxx or 25.54.60.xxx.
Machine have a network controller situated lover back of the copier and linked with fireware cable to back of the scanner ?
Can you post a picture with the back of the copier ?

Power off the machine and disconnect the power cable from machine.
Disconnect the power cable of the net controller.
Disconnect the fireware cable from the back of the scanner.
Pull out the scanner tray ( unscrew the side screws first ) and remove the fireware pci card from pci slot.
Pull in the scanner tray and connect the machine power cable.
Let disconnected the power cable of the controller.
Start on the machine and see if the error is still there.

the erreure is always my friend, I even replace the bar that contains the yellow battery is behind the scanner

Go to service mode and read the errors from machine faults history.
