LYSAKER, NORWAY -- (Marketwire) -- 11/10/09 -- Aker Solutions has been awarded a notice to proceed by TransCanada Corporation (TransCanada) for the construction of a 900 megawatt (MW) natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
