Sharp 3-D TV Uses Four Primary Colors for Depth

The jockeying for position among 3-D TV makers heated up Monday with Sharp's announcement that it has developed "the world's first four-primary-color 3-D LCD" set, with a very low incidence of ghost images and "the industry's highest brightness." These qualities, the company said, help produce "an exceptionally realistic sense of depth."
