Nice web page article about curry...
I use curry powder when I can, mostly when reheating stews or casserole dishes on toast the next morning...

After my lemon-honey drink of coarse...

I suppose using what we referred to as mullen (apparently it's commonly called mullein) for sunburn or stinging nettle rashes might qualify here. The plants grew out in the wild, and one or two plants could always be found around stinging nettle patches. We'd take the leaves and crush them in our hands, and then wipe the sap on the sunburn or rash for relief.

Another good remedy for sunburn skin is fresh Aloe Vera. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aloe_vera, provided you can handle the smell.
Just remove a large leaf from the shrub then split the leaf with a knife along it's length.
Carefully wipe the cold sticky leaf gel over the sunburn area for relief. Use your thumb nail to extract the gel out of the leaf as you wipe. The sunburn area is usually feeling better in an hour or so. It does work quite well. There are different species of Aloe vera, so this may or may not work for your particular variety.

I haven't tried stinging nettle tea. I know of people who have try it oral.
I don't have any personal info on stinging nettle as an oral tea.

Another bush remedy is the "Captain Cook Tree" sap for skin warts.
As a young child I remember my brother an I placing the white sap from the seed/bulb onto warts on our skin. The warts dried up and disappeared. I don't know the botanical name for
"Captain Cook tree", I'll have to search the web for an image of it.

        ... search...

I believe the Caption Cook tree is called the Yellow Oleander tree. http://www.caminoverde.org/sites/def..._1_restore.jpg
The bulb in the above image gives the best white sap for use as a topical. Just pluck the
bulb from the tree and drip one or two drops of white sap onto the wart, no where else on the skin. Do the same again in a day or two.

The Captain Cook tree/Oleander is said to be very poisonous, so use with caution.

I'm just a basic G&T man, nice and refreshing on a hot summers night.
The brew your looking for is a great Italian favorite called lemoncello, have look around the web for a recipe, in fact I think Mrs Lagonda has a tea towel with the recipe on it. How ever don't say that name to loudly around one of the senior techs here, he had a very nasty accident with a bottle of it one company lunch and starts dry reaching at the sound of its name.

I have to fix my "likes , thanks" buttons. Amazon adverts redirecting POS + java is stopping my "click likes/thanks" post return to the CTN server.

Reason for the fix : It means I have to waffle on with a return reply text instead of just clicking the "likes thanks button"....

                Bugger,with a capital "F"...

@Lagonda. Are you seeing all the Hyperlinks on the CTN website? If your I.T. dept is locking out amazon ,imgmur, youtube you may not be reading all the CTN threads. You'll probably feel out of the loop.

                BTW thanks....

Bugger... Sounds like you need a good dose of chemicals to get rid of the box-elder trees.
Try some home hardware chemical like caustic-soda.
I know caustic-soda will remove tall Pencil Pine trees if place into the root system.

You would believe a fire at the base of the stump would remove all the feeders for sure.

                  Potassium Nitrate (stump remover).
                  Good stuff.

Errr....if you don't know what your missing how do you know you're missing it????
I feel left out of most things, but there again I am married!

I'm still in long protracted negotiations with the IT numpties to get access to YouTube so we can see all the "how to fix your photocopier" vids that are out there but they have slightly relented and we can now use the Ricoh Live Chat portal.
The trouble with IT is they have seemed to have lost sight of the fact they're there to help make my job easier not harder.
Now you've done it, you've got me ranting about IT again and my blood pressure is rapidly climbing..........how long 'til retirement?

... How did you know what the subject was about ?...Shsssssh they'll hear you...

All machine Technicians who have access to the Echelon systems of society are generally on the domestic-terrorist(buzy word) watch list, which is probably about 99% of the working Techo's on CTN...

Seriously though, I stopped shaking in my boots about "big-bother" a very loooong time ago.
The entire BB system only works while there is "fear" generated in the social mindset equation.
BigBother has an equally greater fear which only narrowly has the social fear equation staying balance.

Any way don't ya luv how the CTN threads digress...

Back to the topic. I still have to web search for the Lemoncello alcohol mix you spoke of.
I'll give it a try for sure...
