    It is a sad day when Prime Minister Trudeau of Canada stands at a press conference and says that Canada must retaliate against the unfair tariffs that President Trump Trump has imposed today on steel (25%) and aluminum (10%).

    Both Mexico and the European Union plan reciprocal tariffs as well.

    Canada plans to impose $16.9 B dollars in tariffs on the USA matching dollar for dollar the tariffs the US imposed on Canada. The tariffs will last until the USA changes its mind.

    These tariffs are the strongest action that Canada has ever applied against any nation since the second world war.

            ... due to Trump's new tariff's on aluminum, if you like drinking beer or soda from a can, it is going to cost you more this summer.

            The USA simply does not have enough industrial capacity to make more aluminum to meet demand.
