Trump administration mulling tariffs on auto imports
The Trump administration is mulling a plan to impose a fresh round of tariffs on imported vehicles over national security concerns, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.
President Trump is reportedly weighing whether to task the Commerce Department to investigate whether he can levy upward of 25 percent tariffs on imported automobiles under Section 232 of trade law.
Trump has already imposed tariffs of 25 percent on steel and 10 percent on aluminum imports under the provision, which gives the president broad powers to slap duties on foreign goods that are considered a threat to national security.
Commerce would have to produce a report detailing whether auto tariffs would fit under the national security provisions.
The Trump administration took the better part of a year to complete the investigation into steel and aluminum.
Many foreign automakers have plants in the United States. But Trump has said that U.S. automakers aren't getting fair tariff treatment in regions such as the European Union.
The idea is still in the early stages, the Journal said.
Any plan to apply tariffs is likely to face opposition over concerns about increasing costs to U.S. consumers and retaliation against American products.

There's no physical proof the education level of children is falling...

I guess I could track down and post the historical documents. Journals of the spies within the Shawnee and Miami tribe as well as documented meetings between the Indians and American diplomats. Hell--even the journals of the frontiersmen who dealt with Tecumseh. Not to mention the records we have from the white girl he fell in love with and her family.
But in the end, the facts just don't fit your narrative, so it wouldn't matter. And what's more, they might be a little much for you to comprehend. Putting two and two together to make four isn't a Canadian's strong point.Comment

The Trump presidency is a win for China
Trump has shown the policy reflexes best suited for a pinball machine when it comes to Beijing, threatening to crush it in trade wars one day and then being ready to make deals the next.
He's obsessed with one economic issue above all others: the $375 billion US trade deficit with China, which appears to be distracting him from goals that include halting Chinese intellectual property theft, which represents a far more serious threat to the American economy.
Trump's decision to anchor US-China relations on a hyper-personal relationship with Chinese President Xi Jinping also opens the US President to the possibility of manipulation. Chinese leaders have long used flattery to court American politicians -- and the current commander in chief seems especially susceptible to such an approach.

The actual truth is that he attempted to create an area east of the Mississippi for his alliance with the help of the British. Not all of North America as your embellishments infer.
After being defeated he came to Canada to assist the British in the war of 1812.
