This is not the place............but since someone already brought it up..

I guess you'd rather have 4 more years of the same with McCain. Dubya and the Republicans did more damage to this country than anybody in the past 200 years. YOUR children will be paying for this Iraq war in the years to come. No social security, education, less government benefits etc.
Dubya has more signing statements than ALL the other Presidents combined. If you don't know what a signing statement is, Google it.

2 - And on another note, what if Obama actually was a Muslim? I do admit that I'm glad he's not, but what happened to freedom of religion that we STILL have in this country? Does that only count if you're a christian? (BTW..I'm not)

3- Yes, his middle name is Hussein (sp?) is that his fault?
my middle name is William, I don't like it, but it is what it is.
      Give it a rest.

4- McSame keeps talking about Obama's decision making skills. Well he sure picked a winner in Anchorage Sarah, she's a fucking buffoon!

5- The only reason McSame went to Annapolis is because his father and grandfather were 4 star admirals. The present John McCain graduated 894th is a class of 898, he crashed 3 planes even before he got to VN.
No wonder he was a POW, with his piloting skills.
I could go on and on......

And how are your piloting skills MFY? I know mine are really awful! Last time I flew a plane it hit the ground hard! It's a good thing that I'm already dead! The political crap on this forum seems to take away from the good stuff like copier problems and fixes. But maybe I just have a feeble brain? On that note, I think it just might be a good thing that the british did not stay, otherwise you brits would really be tearing your hair out! (that is not an insult england guys- just a big welcome to Boston!) If only we had learned a little more before we broke away? (see, no insult- GSTQ!) Oh well, so much for that. Hey, "F" all your political opinions and shut the "F" up and vote! And start talking about "FKN" copiers again! MFY get over Obama and start complaining that free manuals suck like you usually do. It will all be over soon. (Thank god 'cause i'm ready to puke!)

Can anyone tell me who the dominant party of the last 60 years has been??

Now, tell me how that party can't be blamed for about 80% of the current situation in the country.

I didn't bring up politics in this thread. I only added my .02 cents. I wasn't trained as a pilot like McSame was, but I was a plumber for 27 years. Does that qualify me to be VP? ::wink::
And as far as complaining, as far as I know we STILL have free speech in this country. Dubya hasn't taken that away from us yet, but he still has 2.5 months to do more damage, and it you read the press he wants to deregulate more stuff before he leaves office.

Its laughable that the countries problems would be laid at the feet of one man. Its giving tooooo much credit.

By the time we get our heads out of the copiers it'll be too late. So I say technicians unite and vote for shorter work days an open parts pipeline and unregulated service handbooks for all. MFY for mayor of Copytechnet! lol

You're worried about freedom of speech and you claim Obama is the man for the job? Ever hear of the Fairness Doctrine?

Fact is neither is qualified for the job of President, but Obama is less so than McCain. And tell me what "change" before I blindly accept it. I believe changing from a Democratic Republic to a Socialist government would be unacceptable.

Hear, Hear. Add in work weeks that start on Wednesday and end on Thursday. The weekend would then be 5 glorious days. (but you still get paid for 40 hours a week.)

Wait a minute we have a system for that...welfare. Come to think of it you don't even have to work for welfare

Just a couple of observations in reading this thread.

Please note the header in this Forum.

"Rants, Raves, and Everything Else This is the place to bitch, moan, or make a statement. Anything goes!

                      The other one is
Perhaps we should have stayed because you Americans seem to get overheated about two things Religion and Politics

In the UK we know whatever Politician we get from whatever Party they are going to be a self serving Liar. We are used to it and don't get excited about it any more.

As for Religion again we judge the man not what religion or lack of it that he has.

You ought to try it sometime it makes for a quiet life!

Remember if it all goes wrong for you we have a anniversary we celebrate the 5th November 1605. Perhaps you could make a better job of it than a certain Mr Guy Fawkes did!

This is all meant tongue in cheek so don't start raving or I will send you to your room with no Dinner.

                        A little tidbit of history

For those who don't know, Mr Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Parliament. Some see him as a hero, others as a revolutionary.

Huh???? Wow, what a short memory. You STARTED this tread with a political statement.

I already voted, so anyone wants to change my mind now ... I'm all ears.

This is hard to do but so compelling. Im always raggin on the media, (justly deserved) but found a piece that actually helps MFY make his point. It hasnt been checked out for its sources, so some healthy skepticism is called for. I had a feeling about McNasty just not able to put my finger on it.

I hate when someone starts bustin on the repulican nominee but I hate it worse when Im forced to look at the issue and believe the worst of what I hear. I feel so uninformed about Barack (Ayers, Wright etc.). If someone finds dirt from a respectable source then Im all ears.

For your reading pleasure, basically a bio of young John. Cant say you dont have the facts.
