Are you trying to say that there are people out there that would rather work for $10/hour than $15/hour? I would definitelt think twice about hiring someone like that. Especially if it's in a retail situation dealing with money.
I know what I said. You just don't understand the downside of this $15 minimum wage thing. Of course they would rather work for $15 per hour, but the new government mandate forced the owner to lay him off. The owner can afford to pay him $10, but he can no longer hire him because it would be against the law to pay him $10 per hour.

Here is what actually happens when minimum wage is increased.

Numerous states raised their minimum wages above the federal level during the 1997-2007 period the federal minimum wage remained stuck at $5.15. Research by the Fiscal Policy Institute and others showed that states that raised their minimum wages above the federal level experienced better employment and small business trends than states that did not.

What are you suggesting, my man? That's it's not okay for a commercial business to so business with a homophobic/sexist/racist organization but it's perfectly acceptable for the USA to do business with a government that are all of those things?

The truth is that for every 10 people a company can afford to hire at $15 an hour, they can hire 15 at $10 an hour.

... somebody has to first show up to take the job. If they take the job, they will soon be looking for a higher paying job. $10.00 hour = high employee turnover. There is a cost to constantly train new employees.

Liberals have lost touch with reality. You've been brainwashed into believing that big government knows what's best for business over the people who actually own/run the business.

All one has to do is look at our deficit to understand that's not true.

First of all, that's not true. Secondly, much of that was due to covid. Third, liberals have run up the debt over the years. Stop with the tomfoolery.

Back on point. Who the hell can look at our debt and think that our government knows how to run a business. It's fucking madness. Lets just dispel that notion.
