Your baby, or embryo, is around 6mm long, which is about the size of a baked bean. It looks like a bit like a baked bean too, due to its curved shape. Some people think it resembles a tadpole with its little tail.

There's a bump where the heart is and another bulge where the head will be. Sometimes the heart beat can be picked up by a vaginal ultrasound scan, but you're unlikely to be offered one, unless you've had IVF. The little arms and legs are starting to form and are known as limb buds. There are tiny dents where the ears will be. The embryo is covered with a thin layer of transparent skin.

Does that sound "viable" to you?

That doesn't sound very scientific. Source?

Wow. For someone who seems offended when someone won't answer a direct question, you sure have trouble answering a direct question.
Never mind, your silence speaks volumes.

I answered your direct question. I don't know enough about the Texas law or the science behind it...or if there's any science behind it.

Do you want me to lie to you and pretend that I do?

This is from the Mayo Clinic. Maybe that is scientific enough.

Week 6: The neural tube closes
Growth is rapid this week. Just four weeks after conception, the neural tube along your baby's back is closing. The baby's brain and spinal cord will develop from the neural tube. The heart and other organs also are starting to form and the heart begins to beat.

Structures necessary to the formation of the eyes and ears develop. Small buds appear that will soon become arms. Your baby's body begins to take on a C-shaped curvature.

It says that the heart begins to beat. Interesting.

When do you believe life starts? Are you gonna answer or not?

It also says "the brain and spinal cord WILL develop".

In my mind, this entire debate comes down to when you believe life begins. But, then again, you are record that it doesn't matter to you as you believe a woman should have the right to abort at any point during the pregnancy. You and I are world's apart because I believe in protecting life.

I believe a woman has the capacity to decide what is best for her.

If this woman had the capacity to decide what's best for her then she wouldn't haven't gotten pregnant and need an abortion. But here we are debating when life begins and should anyone be looking out for the unborn child.
