But you forgot to mention the extra $600.00 or $700.00 a week that those on unemployment got. Of course senior citizen and veteran got the shaft. There are a lot of veterans that are homeless.

Yup many homeless vets, after the goobermint promised to take care of them.
They were pawns in the game that could be just tossed aside and forgotten.

... not all people in society are given the same skills and opportunities.

what would be your solution for the poor, the disabled, the elderly, those living on a fixed income that is below the standard of living? Those who suddenly lost their jobs due to no fault of their own?

An overhaul of the 'entitlement' system is sorely needed.
There should be no payouts to illegal criminals ( see illegal immigration.

copier addict is so accustomed to sponging off the government that he forgets that a tax break is simply giving folks back more of their hard earned money. It's not a handout...it's their money. Typical liberal thinking.

Yes like a Trump paid zero in federal taxes.

Well let me think about that. If a woman receiving aid to families with dependent children does not want to identify the father of as child then she does not get aid for that child. If she does identify the father then recover the money from the father just like they do with divorced fathers paying child support.

Stop extending unemployment beyond the original state limit. For many states that is typically 26 weeks.I know you people actually love that under a Democrat administration as when individuals drop off unemployment, it lower the unemployment rate quoted most often. If they are able to work, they need to get off their asses and do so.

Stop using Social Security funds to fund welfare. That will make more funds available to give senior citizens a livable income. Stop funding Medicaid with Medicare monies. Most of us senior citizens have paid into those funds our entire working lives. It is our money. The Democrat Party who were responsible for the economic shutdown should fund benefits for those who suddenly lost their out their campaign treasure chests.

More liberals lies. If you actually look at the tax rates, the largest reductions in the tax rates were given to those in the lowest tax bracket.

And your love of government assistance will come crumbling around you ears when you turn 65.
SSI taxes have jumped up to 170$/month from 144$/month.
When you are living on a fixed income that can hurt you rather severely.
SSI is money that seniors have paid into the system with the promise that it'll be there when you turn 65.
The coffers are running dry due to congress robbing it to pay those who refuse to work even tho they are able to.
