People who have 99% opinions only in RREE political threads with zillions posts of spewing hate each other party. What's the point?
Where are united techs? Where is the knowledge we shared? Why to hate my brother tech because he's different?

I agree echo chambers are bad but you aren't exactly helping anything. Everyone continues to argue without an open mind. So nothing is learned, everyone continues with their respective party talking points and everyone else has to see the immaturity and name calling. Nothing is learned when nobody is willing to stop being an NPC.

The pattern has been this. Maga supporter posts something. Non Maga supporter posts something with a differing opinion. Maga supporter gets angry and insults non Maga supporter and blocks them so they don't have to view differing opinions. Every Maga supporter, with few exceptions, has blocked every non Maga supporter.
The Maga supporters in this forum don't want to see opposing opinions. So, the resident Maga supporters have in essence turned this forum into an echo chamber.

I am simply trying to point out the hypocrisy of what our Maga representatives are posting. They don't like it so they block me. They want another echo chamber here and I believe echo chambers are not productive. They just reinforce ones confirmation bias.

Yeah but because of very few people this forum is basically obsessed and has no value for majority.
Even there are topics with good quality they're quickly buried under political rants and members who are not daily around find only pile of crap over everything else!
I'm too used to be here and know forums and members inside out but in fact missed Aneurysm post here because of lack of desire to enter RREE forum. I don't want anyone banned because I believe in free speech but when it comes to the point forum is stolen from the members I'm pissed off!

I for one find the bickering amusing, but yea it needs a place of its own. Its overwhelming the purpose of the timeline it should keep.

One suggestion has been to create a separate Forum for Political posts and leave RREE for things like ZOOTECH's Funny Joke of the Day, Aneurysm's My 1,000th Post and a few others. It would make it a whole lot easier to find those when you want to add a post to one. The only thing there is it will be an awful lot of work and right now I think Aneurysm needs a rest and we need some moderators when Aneurysm has time to vet some.
