You're funny. We're the largest economy in the world. Canada couldn't survive.

Obviously you failed to understand my post, as usual. I clearly said it wouldn't happen overnight.

Hey, when will this happen? When will Canada and others exclude America?

When it becomes too expensive to deal with you. Do you even know how capitalism works?

So, Canada will exclude the USA and partner with who? China?

                Good luck with that.

Okay, a lesson in capitalism. If it becomes unprofitable to deal with someone, you search out someone else who you can profit from. Again, understanding is on you.

IMHO when you are a net producing country you can afford to tax production. But when you are a net consuming nation you have to tax consumption. It accomplished at least two things:
                    1. It reduces unnecessary consumption
                    2. It can encourage exporting nations to enter into trade agreements

That's exactly why we're slapping a tariff on Canada.

So, who are you going to blame inflation on now?

We won't have to worry about that. Reduce regulation, cut taxes and spending. And fire government workers. It can't lose.

Hahaha. You don't think charging tariffs is going to increase prices? Who do you think the manufacturers are going to pass the increase into?

I'll file this prediction away with all your other ones. Frankly your batting average is in the shitter.

It took Biden one day to shutdown a large portion of the US Domestic petroleum production. That was the major cause of inflation over the last nearly four years. It will take anywhere from six months to 3 or more years to get domestic production fully restarted. It all depends on how soon drilling rigs and crews become available.
