They're about 30% less expensive than a comparably equipped EV, and they can do actual truck stuff like tow a trailer or carry a payload. No, they're not cheap, but they are less expensive while being more useful.Comment

I'm not denying any of that. But, every new generation of vehicle is better than the last and that will continue. I'm no fan of battery powered vehicles but, it seems inevitable and railing against it isn't going to change that.Comment

Just because you don't want it to happen, doesn't mean a lot of other people don't want it to happen. Nobody is forcing people to buy battery powered vehicles. The only thing the government is doing is giving a little incentive for someone to buy one.Comment

Yes, incentivizing a technology that even you admit is not ready for prime time, using our tax dollars. If the market demands it, it will sell on its own and should not need tax funded incentives to do so.Comment
