Which machines do you miss the most?

I have fond memories of the old Toshiba BD range of analogue machines, the 5120 and 4140 in particular. They were the first machines I worked on way back when. Those things were bulletproof, polishing scratches out of drums, getting your hands trapped in the machines when the shocks failed. I remember when I was being trained on the 4140, the first machine they unleashed me on. I stripped the thing down and placed all the parts in a orderly fashion on the desk so I would remember how to reassemble it. Then returning from lunch to find they'd thrown all the bits into a box and made me put it back together without the use of a manual. My then manager said ' real technicians don't need manuals'......
Ahhh, I miss the good old days......

Lanier 6725 or 6735. Simple, easy to work on. Really good machine to train someone for copier repair on.

      Toshiba 1340/50/60/70.
Really good small machines, these can last forever if good tech maintain them.

Yeah those Lanier are really Toshiba make and they are related to what you listed.

Toshiba made great analog boxes. Don't really care for their digital. Never have.

Kyocera FS3700 / 3700+ ...and especially the final iteration FS3750.

Okay, not a copier, but a very fine printer. True 600x600dpi, with "interpolated" 2400dpi. Prescribe II to program them with, fantastic reliablity and very easy to work on.

Nice design too. Compact...especially for 18ppm

The Mita DC-5585/7085. I was Mita's first halfway decent 55/70 cpm machine, and would do a PM cycle every time. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                  1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                  2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                  3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                  4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                  5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Mita Ci7600. A huge tank of a machine that required a lot of PM work, but the prints on those looked good.

Relax! This firmware injection won't hurt...but it will take 45 minutes.
