A few days ago it started: when I attempt to open .xls or .xlsx files in Windows 10, I get a blank Excel screen. I can then browse to: Open > then find the file, and it still opens properly, but just double-clicking the filename cannot find the file.
In Settings > Apps > Default Apps almost all file types default to "appvlp" whatever that is. I have Microsoft Office 2013 and the appropriate license, but cannot see a way to select the on-board Excel application.
Does this sound familiar? =^..^=
