    I know I am a dork, but while watching the Scify channel I came upon this. There is even a manual for it!
    iCub.org - an open source cognitive humanoid robotic platform
    Anybody ever heard of this before?

                                      Won't be long before they use them to fix machines. It'll take a lot longer, but there'll be less complaints and cheaper over time.
                                      Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
