I'm headed that way eventually too. Right now getting the Synvisc injections in both knees, no improvement yet. 30 years of working on fighter jets and 5 on copiers have ruined them. Ortho doc says he wants to get 10 years out of my knees as is. I don't see that happening, been lurching around since last Fall, service calls are a bitch. In fact almost everything is, since I just can't get comfortable. Not even 60 yet..... jeez.Leave a comment:

Was up using a walker the first night. Getting around on crutches pretty good now. See the doc on Friday and then hope he will ok me to drive. Sitting around is getting old. Thanks for your notes.Leave a comment:

Good luck MrBill. Amazing how far modern medicine has come, isn't it? Not too long ago, you'd have spent the rest of your life painfully hobbling around...... Here's hoping for a quick and complete recovery!Leave a comment:

Hope you have a speedy recovery. I know the reasons you stated, but let's be real. You wore out you hip putting you foot up somebodies ass one too many times.
Hey, you think your surgery was painful, I had a complete wife replacement done. Took over 2 years and was very painful and even more expensive.Leave a comment:

Re: Life sucks . II
Glad your doing fine Mrbill, my next door neighbour had a double replacement after years of pain which was so bad that after the op didn't ask for any pain meds, compared to the pain before the op afterwards was a breeze for them.Leave a comment:

Blimy, no wonder us women feel so crap about our bodies, in one breath we hear men complaining about fake boobs, then they all want to go see fake boobs, ever considered appreciating a woman for who she is LOLLeave a comment:

Re: Life sucks . II
Years of having to kneel or squat on the floor to work on copiers takes its toll on the body. For me it is mostly lower legs and feet. Standing back up gets harder every year. And then you have to get the blood back to circulating in the legs. Fully recover quickly.Leave a comment:

Re: Life sucks . II
I'll bet all of the copier techs beg on their knees or beat each other up to get to that service call first....
I use to service the copier at the Hospital Venereal Disease clinic section. I have a general habit of making small talk while I'm servicing machines, an out of habit I ask the nurse on duty "have you's been busy" ? I had a strange urge sweep over me, an immediately said to the nurse "don't answer that, what ever you do I don't want to know....." eeeewh.....
She just laughed out loud and walked off.....Leave a comment:
