Re: LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!
I learned not to do that when a computer guy who used to work here had me check out lemonparty.org. That was 5 or 6 years ago and I almost have the image deleted from my memory.Leave a comment:

Re: LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!
If you get a male collector calling you with a stern tone of voice, you can respond to them and let them know it's turning you on. Telling them to keep talking, cause you're almost finished.
The creepier and nastier the better.
I should really record my conversations. Might be able to do something like Tom Mabe, but with a focus on debt collectors.
A few years back my employer who's HQ is in NY issued us all smart phones. Around 300 techs scattered around the country with NY phone numbers. The first year was fun. Most of those numbers were recycled. Constant debt collector and robo calls.Leave a comment:

Re: LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!
I have my home phone hooked to a Panasonic UF 6000 fax machine; the phone being piggybacked to the fax. With the advent of modern technology, incoming numbers flash on the TV screen so I know who it is. It has been 3 years now and I rarely get these calls anymore.
After getting the lovely "handshake" tone a few times, the number is pulled from the dial lists.
When one of them does sneak through, I like to make it exciting for them. I usually do one of the following things.
-Repeatedly scream "Mom, I'm on the phone!!" as loud as I can every 30 seconds or so.
-Put on porn and turn up the volume to an inappropriate level.
-Swear a lot.
-Randomly change my voice to a different accent; British and Pakistani are my favorites.
-Ask them to hold on a second, put the phone down, and go about my day.

Re: LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!
When they want to verify place of residence, I give them random addresses in my apartment complex. A few times the sheriff office has showed up to serve civil processes. It costs collectors money to file that shit. Lol.
Maybe one day they'll find the elusive Frank Johnson.Leave a comment:

Re: LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!
It's part of a package deal with my internet - saves me a couple of pennies from time to time. Plus, now I only have to carry the cell phone that the mothership loaned me, having two of them was mildly annoying.Leave a comment:

Re: LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!
Well I just got another call. Nice sounding lady. Getting ready to go out to eat with the wife so I had to keep it short.
Asked her her if I could sniff panties, and then give each other "rolling brown outs".
For you sick members here who don't know what a rolling brown out is, google it.Leave a comment:

Re: LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!
I get debt collector calls sometimes. Last guy who had my cell number must have took a big shit on all his creditors.
Had one give me the last 4 of the guys social security number. With that I can really string them out on the calls.
A couple of my customers are debt collection agencies, so I've learned just what to say to really torque their nads.

Re: LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!
If you believe your sms messages are not being tracked think again.
I sent my wife text message one evening to grab some wine on the way home.
Two days later my snail mail box is jambed with advertisement wine brochures.
If the telcom can track a wine message why can't they stop a virus program coming into your broadband network?Leave a comment:

Re: LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!
I kept getting collection agency calls on my cell for deadbeats who either have a name similar to mine, or, more often, the previous owner of my cell number.
Judging by the numerous agencies that have called, she must be a real winner.
Seems that no matter what you tell them, they promise to stop calling, but don't.
I must have added at least 30 of these numbers to my "ignore list", and I think I may have finally rid myself of them.
I realize that there may be some legitimacy behind the calls, but it gets extremely irritating.Leave a comment:
