I disagree, his children should not die for their father's sin, they had nothing to do with it! Everyone must carry his or her own cross. Here, our biggest nuisance is the telecom companies bombarding us every time with bogus unsolicited sms ..short messages on our mobile phones. It is so irritating that some subscribers have decided to drag to court one of the giant telecom companies here, atleast for allowing their network to be used for those unwanted messages.

You need to have all your friends on caller ID and then set musical tones for each "group" of friends.

And any thing else goes to answer machine...

I hate the robo calls too. Now if it's a real person, I like too mess with them.

No, not any of you.
I have had about seven robocalls on the landline this evening. About stuff I'm not interested in. Bah.
Although, if you ever find yourself in this situation, here's a couple of things that I learned during the charity telemarketer wars back in the eighties that might help:
Caller ID is one of the most useful features on a phone ever. A call comes in with a nonsense ID (a couple from tonight: WIRELESS and MICHIBAN) means it it probably OK to ignore it.
Also, I've got my landline answering machine set to answer after two rings. That usually gives me enough time to answer important calls, and also to make sure that the calls with nonsense caller IDs are properly charged for disturbing me.
Sorry, just something I had to rant about.
