    Some things take to long!

I got screwed around by a BH C360 badly. The machine came from one of the branches so they are dodgy to begin with but C360 are fun toys because they work until they break but it will be fixed. So i needed a machine to replace an expensive C452 in a production environment so it needs to be ok i expect it to be killed at around 4M.

When the machine switched on the engine does not start so i know there is something up with this thing. It shows a jam at the exit from the first tray. Opened the side door and the feed unit is missing? Asked around the shop i found that the feeder was striped out and installed at one of my stops, so good that is fixed. Now i need a another one. So where is the broken one? Nobody knows, the white gears between the roller was done after 1M anyway. Mmmm.. found a C280. So to get on with it i test the machine this feeder with no luck so my focus is on connectors and and wires, but all seems well. Next would be sensor check and the culprit is the feed sensor.

But where is this sensor and i vaguely remember something about a firmware upgrade addressing tray jams it must be on ver88. Its on newer software so it can be that, even replaced the OACB(I/O). The lesson wat soon learned after i looked at the office printer to find an extra connector pluged in with an actual feed sensor.
So this is how to really waste time i still needed to run out the black toner from the dev tanks's, clean it up wrap and deliver and install it in the next 2 hours!

Running gradation gave me the repeating dot pattern like the "lines of shame" dot pattern. And was lucky enough to mess around with it enough to backup the NVRAM, that fixed the problem! I checked the state confirmation and it was cruising ok. Victory came at 6PM.

So its all kind of dumb and it killed the entire day!
