          Re: Hello, I am newbie

Welcome! Hope you can find this useful to you.

One thing I would like to ask of ALL newbies, when you post a problem:

          1) List any error codes associated with the machine
          2) Provide pictures/scans of any CQ/PQuality problems
          3) Let us know what you have done/replaced
          4) Give us the life of the consumables

As a technician.. when you come to a service call you should always:

          1) Ask the customer what issues they are having
          2) Explain to the customer what problems they have described to make sure you have the issues in mind.
          3) Clean the internals and and scan glass
          4) Make sure the consumables aren't at end of life.

Doing these things ( section 1 ) will enable us to better help you.
Doing these things ( section 2 ) will give yourself and the customer a better feeling about the service call.

              Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
