cf2002 with fiery controller - How do I hook up the copier and fiery to my computer?

So I bought this unit second hand and have never used it before It has a fiery controller connected to it and I also bought the computer they used with the copier, but I have no idea what I need to do to hook them together??? Do I need the internet to hook them together?? sorry I'm totally new to this Thanks for your time and responses!!
