    The new copytech site

Wow, what an absolutely horrible new look. Crawling with adds, and add pop ups. It must have been sold to someone that is only here to make ad money.

What adds? I don't get any. What are you using? I use a Windows 11 laptop, Firefox browser, Malwarebytes Anti Malware. Adblock Plus and uBlock Origin.

Ditto that. No ads or pop-ups at all.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The ads are most likely not from CTN but instead from what ever device and app you are using.

There are fewer ad placements on the new site, the ads are generally larger but there are fewer of them.
The old site was running on heavily modded, 18-year-old software that hadn't had an update or patch in years.

The server was a security hazard, it was only a matter of time until something bad happened.

I know change can be hard but here we are, we'll all survive.

The best part, it's still FREE.

Yes Adblock plus will block all the ads, this is what I use.

                Firefox + Ublock Origin

On Android you can try this, settings / connections / more connection settings / private DNS set to manual and type dns.adguard.com

This will block almost everything including ads in apps, however it also blocks sponsored ads in Google search, takes a bit of getting used to, but I have been using this for years.

What Style are you using? If it is not the Dark, give it a try. It is much easier on the eyes. FYI, the Style button is at the bottom left next to the Language button.

adblock plus and firefox. i have just thick columns of empty space on either side.
i just hit CTL++ to make the posts bigger, easier to read and the columns shrink. noads.jpg

The ad free period is like a month. I mean no insult to aneurysm by blocking the ads and I hope my help on the site has been more valuable than the revenue that would be generated otherwise from my visits.

I'm waiting/hoping for a contributor only forum where I could link other contributing members to my library of konica without going through the PM system when needed

One thing I have noticed in the past, adblock plus did not block ads actually sold by CTN.
