Ranger Archival Ink Cleaner seems to work on everything. Even works to clean permanent marker off stuff. Gentle enough to work on rubber stamps.

Image Supply sells a direct comparable to the D-Ink product. It's called Ink BeGone. It's non-carcinogenic and runs about 20% less than what D-Ink was selling for. Available in 8 oz and 1 gallon containers. About $10 a gallon less expensive than the Cooper's product also.

I think Fedron is the reason I lost my sense of smell; too many typewriter platens cleaned.

I havent tried the INK but i dont think its going to be like the D-INK. My guess is that its some sort of clear looking volotile shit. Kinda that Fedron that melted the rollers! D-Ink cleaned the rollers for you and it would also clean up nasty stains on covers as well. Ink Be Gone is easy on the rollers and does a nice job but is worthless for cleaning any stains.

Yeah! That Fedron had to be carried in a glass jar!

King? Fedron did a good job at melting the rollers!

THEN came the Fedron to finish things off.

With Inkbgone, Korkay and a knife I can do wonders.
Spilt a bottle of Fedron on a copier control panel once.Melted real good and had to open the windows to prevent the customer from getting high.Never used it again.
