Re: any companies laying off ?
Same here. But we were told our branch and geographic area was doing really well (both monetarily - all things considered - and reopening) and might open sooner. We are heavy into schools and uni's and I personally can't see us opening earlier. We've been on the edge of needing to go to 4 days/wk since the schools went back PT. They are expected to go back PT in Sep and Uni's are all online until Xmas. This is going to be a long road.

Re: any companies laying off ?
Loan sharks did the same thing during the great depression. The loan shark pay back interest rate crippled many people.
Do you believe gov'ts loan money from the privately own reserve banks of the each country only to have that debt wiped clean by the reserve banks????
Wait for the popluation to recover from Covid virus and watch for the strange new levy or tax rules that come about to remove the Covid debit money out of working class circulation and back to the reserve banks with huge huge interest. AKA Loan sharks...Leave a comment:

Three day work week and all other restrictions will remain in place for the next quarter, end of September. We are also offered an incentive to leave the company if our individual situation makes this desirable.Leave a comment:

Human resources,chattel, cannon fodder.
No matter what belief system people attain too, that belief itself is just neural synaptic patterns running around in water molecules of someones cranium.
We all die an rot into the ground the same as every one else, and those synaptic brain patterns that have people elevated above all else, dies with the body in a fleeting glimpse. That elevated life-long driven belief, in the last moment of life, pertains and equates to nothing.
I do believe differently and that's all I'll say.Leave a comment:

They in turn have issued Ricoh services contracts out to substandard inexperienced popup outlets.
Those outlets are wanting experience Techs to jump ship and pickup the experience knowledge void missing from the new fledgling stores. It appears if you are young out of University you can instantly know years of experience about business equipment. Because "THEY'VE BEEN TO UNI". Text-book tradesmens out of Uni have instant knowledge an experience every person believes that......
Don't they?...Leave a comment:

This is bad news, I feel sorry for you. Someone with that much experience in the field shouldn't be seeking for work.Leave a comment:
