I,ve been working on a Fujitsu 7700 scanner. It feeds paper just fine. However, after paper finishes scanning, i get a J8 01 message. The pick sensors are very clean. Is there a reset or something I might be missing ? Is this something common ?
You may need to replace the sensor. Improper cleaning methods can damage the lens. Products like Windex and other detergent based glass cleaners can leave a soap film that cloud the sensor. Alcohol and other solvent based glass cleaners can etch the surface of the sensor.
