I keep getting a "Error Type: Setting" When scanning to a smb folder. Which "setting" is wrong?

Ok, sure. That's what's on the failure report. Now what is the error on the display when it fails? And is it affecting just one recipient or more than one?

    What OS of the server?
What OS of the recipient PC?
If the scan folder shared properly?
Are you using a username/password to access the recipient PC?
What port # are you using?

Do I need to continue? Include some details. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yea, I really think it was a oversight, that they never owned up to.

The error print out is useless.

We need the four digit code from the screen.

Two common for SMB :: 1102 is username/pw 2101 is firewall. (generally speaking)
