The copier runs fine for a week or two then when I come in one morning and turn it on I cannot access it from my computer and have to change the IP address and then everything is fine for a week or two.
I am not sure why this continually happens as nothing on the rest of the network changes.
When I change the address I notice there is a choice for automatic IP, should I choose this option? Will that allow the copier to find an IP address so it can always connect?
If I choose this option do I have to re-install the software so it finds the copier? As it is now the software under printer properties is set to the same IP address as the copier.
This is such a pain to have to waste time with this IP issue.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
