AFAIK, Fieries NEVER support upgrades to newer OSes in the field.

Any upgrade would need to come from EFI.

I can almost guaranty an in-place upgrade would would crash it, and necessitate re-imaging.

Keep in mind that even the simplest of OS patches have to go through EFI. There have been a number of them that will break the Fiery software. (I tried that a few years back, just as an experiment.)

If Fiery pay for Extended Security Update program it might mean customers with Fiery will continue getting patches?

i mean i have seen a crashed ATM running Win XP only like 4 years ago
