[Jamming] jamming in color duplex

Hello
I am working in a Toshiba e-studio 5005ac, the problem is that the copier have the error E520 only when is printing in color duplex mode,,
in monochrom it print without problem also if print in a single color mode.
If someone can give me a suggestion i will be appreciated.

I've seen E520 (also EA10 & E510) jams on duplex, monochrome or color, when the hole through the duplex gate ovals out. When the gate is actuated the ends of the fins at the rear rub on the lower guide or the exit roller, stalling it's movement. To be sure, you can move the gate manually, and see that the duplex gate is in-fact contacting the lower guide or the exit roller. You can replace the guide if you like, but all you really need to do is shorten the fins that are contacting the lower guide or exit roller. This can be done with a flat file. Just make sure that there is 1mm clearance when the gate actuates.

You can also see E520 (also E020 & E580) jams on duplex when the leaf springs that return the white idler rollers on the delivery unit come loose. Check that there is spring pressure on the reverse roller idlers. The plastic locking feature that retains the leaf springs break off, releasing the leaf springs, and dropping them down the vertical path. Sometimes you can get lucky and find the leaf springs. You have two choices here: You can replace the delivery unit frame. Or if you have all the leaf springs, you can do a MacGuyver, level of difficulty 9 out of 10. Drill two #67 holes through the outside of the delivery guide that are very precisely aimed. Bend a staple shape of small paper clip wire, 9mm inside the center, 7mm inside the legs. Start the staple shaped wire into the frame, insert the leaf spring into position, then press the staple shape wire down tight and crimp the ends.

I've done this on a dozen machines with success. It's kinda hard on #67 drill bits though. You'll want to have 1 bit for every leaf spring you secure. =^..^=

I have read your suggestion but this case is very extrange because i replaced the whole exit reverse assembly thinking that could be the problem,however making several test i realized the problem is only when it prints in color in duplex mode,,the first side prints excellent but when the page is coming back to print the second side then the machine stops and the paper stay half inside and half outside and the error message appears showing E520, Monochrome duplex Documents are printed in both side without problem also color single printing are printed excellent.

This problem happens in both cases with printing and copies.

Very strange. What happens if you print/copy full black double sided in bw mode vs text in bw mode?
