I am working in a governmental organization and there i repair copier machines, A copier machine model Nashuatic dsm627 has a problem an error appears in it's display says functional problem inside machine and the error code is sc863 i went to service mode in it's program and i choose all clear still the error exist and i don't know what is the problem and sc863 is belong to which problem of copier which part is faulty or how to solve it's problem?

I believe it's a HDD related issue. Why did you memory all clear? That has likely caused more issues than you started out with.I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. ~Thomas Edison -

Yes. HDD problem for sure. Replace or try reformat. But "How" you will ask?
Invest in a service manual, because you're definitely going to need that, AND more, to redo all of the settings that were lost with the HDDComment

Hope you wrote down the meter readings someplace. If you did a clear all, everything is back to factory specs and after you replace (or reformat the HDD) you will have to put all the info back in.Testing 1-2-3, testing, testing. Is this thing on?Comment

I thought at first he may be referring to SP5810 (SC reset). Now, after re-reading, I'm pretty sure it was 5801. Whatever the case, a full memory clear is no big deal on this machine - especially if the HDD has failed anyway, because all you would really lose is address book entries. The other items are just initial settings that are set to back to defaults, like duplex mode priority, auto-off timing, interface settings etc. No counters are affected - not even the PM counterComment
