    [Misc] Proper waste toner disposal.

Hi every one, I hope that we can all solve this problem that I am sure it concerns us all: What to do with the Waste Toner?
I now have around 80 copiers and my conscious is getting to me, because I just take it to the landfill (not good for the environment). I want to do the right thing, but do not know what that is.

    Thank you all.

I don't know about the States, but here in AUS, we have toner recycling bins where the company that looks after them will come and take away empty toner carts. We also tell our customers to put their waste toner bottles in there as well.

I have had someone tell me that you can't do this, but realistically you can. HP toner carts have the waste toner bottle built into the toner cart, so esentually you are doing the same thing with a separate unit.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Take them out and light them on fire and watch the show!!!
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

Mythbusters did it with coffee creamer.

Toner would make a better fireball!
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Throw them in a box and seal it up.

Take them to any office superstore and get a rewards card if you don't have one.

They usually let you recycle 10 cartridges per month and give you $2 each. So you'll get $20 per month.

The people working there never check and aren't intelligent enough to know the difference between a toner and a waste bottle.

They'll send you a gift certificate and you spend it.
