My 3045 4570 have a offset finisher, when i copy with collate + Offset, sometimes the finisher missed some copies. because of the the printer speed, looks like not catching up with the paper output speed.
Solution:
1. Pull the finisher and remove the screws until you open the top part exposing the finisher mechanism.
2. Lubricate gears with Silicone oil
3. Remove the worn Foam pads on this part, you cant see it on the picture until you remove the casing of the finisher...
There's a worn foam that turns sticky and delays retraction of the finisher.
the foams are placed to prevent noisy retraction. this foam eventually gets sticky and causes several jams on different parts of machine..
