    Canon IR 2800

I know she's old. The issue I'm having is "fax memory full" and check network connection. I did a fax clear. Lost on this one. Thinking upgrade. Thanks Kurt

The Memory RX inbox will retain everything and will not delete receptions automatically. As a consequence, the box may fill up over a period of time with the result being the fax board will no longer receive.

This may happen in cases where a high volume of fax receptions occur since the capacity for receiving into a memory inbox is in the neighborhood of 2000 pages.
In such a case it will be necessary for the user to go into the Memory RX Inbox and select items to delete.

    In RUI
When the machine is set for Memory Lock and all received fax jobs are saved into memory, the memory will eventually fill up.

To Delete Fax Jobs from Memory in the RUI: Highlight the desired job by clicking on the select box to the left of the job and click the red 'X' under received fax job .

How to Enablel and disable Memory Lock from the RUI,

From the RUI, take the following steps:
    1) Click on Job Status.
    2) Select Receive Fax Job.
    3) Click Receive Mode (this is in the upper right hand corner).
    4) Select Memory Lock.
    5) You will then be asked to enter a memory lock password. Enter the password.
    6) You will then be given the option turn memory lock on or off.

ONCE MEMORY LOCK IS ENABLED, NO FAXES WILL PRINTED UNTIL IT IS TURNED BACK OFF.
