    Running single colour tests from service mode:
    SERVICE MODE>TEST>PG>PG5
    You also need to change the value next to the colours that you DON'T want to print from "1" to "0"...that will ensure that you only have one colour on the page.

      Its 59% used which should be fine. I agree with the other tech's check your drums.

        Thanks guys - I haven't had a chance to do test prints yet, I did get another Y drum today though and whacked that in. The colour's back to normal, I'm still geting a bit of background toning on yellow though (as well as with black which was at a similar level of usuage, around 60&#37.

          Help I've only done a couple of hundred pages on this drum and the problem's back - though this time I've got a larger area across the centre that's ok, the top and bottom thirds of the page are discoloured.

          On my 'test' pages I've only got two pages (no PG5) - I've got:

          Type
          TXPH
          THRU
          DENS C, DENS M, DENS Y, DENS K
          COLOR C, COLOR M, COLOR Y, COLOR K,
          PG-PICK
