I had the same thing happen. Machine went a couple of years with first film. Rebuilt fuser with fixing film, lower roller and cleaning roller. Several weeks later same problem with torn film. There is a bulletin for the 3225 series making sure the pressure screws are the same and the red paint screws attached to the frame where the fixing unit goes are centered. Everything looked good and so far it has been about a months. We only get canon parts so maybe just a bad batch? -

i have 3 brand new machine ir2530i installed in less than 4 months and same
problem i faced ,the fixing film is damaged and also today i got a client call for his brand new machine ir2520 installed less than 15 days and i checked it the film is damaged .should me some bulltin for this il be thankful if any one can send us it.Distinguished road makes you jewel in rough
