Imagerunner 2830 Jam code 0b00

Copier jams repeatedly from either tray throwing a jam code of 0B00 cover open detection error. I have both the side door switches jumpered to eliminate them from the problem. Still throws the jam. I know there was a ton of updates to this old beast that I'm sure haven't been done, but can anyone tell me if any of those applied to this particular jam code?

0b00- JAM
most common causes are door and lower right door related.

There is a remote signal that runs through the HVT that shuts off power to the HVT if the door is opened,
if the signal is lost during copying the jam code 0B00 is the symptom.

OLD JUNK notes / u probably seen before--
PS22 { Front Cover Sensor } & PS18 { Feed Cover Sensor }
Remove the 2 delivery collar unit rollers (FF6-0345-000) from the Paper Delivery assembly as seen in figure 350-1 in the parts catalog.

Thanks for the info. Found a cheap new in the box HVT to try. Should be here early next week. Will update this after trying it

Just wondering if that info about removing the delivery collars(ff6-0345-000) in delivery section is recommended generally on various

Canon machines. I had jamming problem on IR3245 and one was broken and out of position, causing jamming on Friday , so I removed it and machine was working ok after that. Have on order but customer called yesterday to say jamming again. I ha left other collar in machine.. Frank

I'm not entirely sure about the delivery collar question. That was added from "Tekcat/s" reply back to me so they are still around, you might try to send them a message to see.

I just had this on a ir3025 and it was the metal grounding strap on registration plate on the front side.
