In this kit is yet another revised Rear arm and a new steering shaft plate. The rear arm has a metal plate on both slots and a revised Steering slide shaft. We bought 4 of these kits that are not cheap. When updating an ITB unit with the improvement kit last week we also grabbed one of these kits. We ended up not installing the new arm or steering part because they do not fit together. The top steering post was a PRESS FIT. Once it was inside the slot and greased even running the pin up and down the tight plate just barley loosened. Be careful around this kit and do not expect it to work. The manufactured tolerance is too tight and there is no QC.

We're just replacing the complete ITB Assy on these, a lot less agro, expensive but worth it.Let us eat, drink, and be merry, because tomorrow we may die!

Also make sure the machine is level this seems to make a difference, had one a while ago with constant E075 every few months, after puting a mini spirit level on the glass (not your phone app they're unreliable) machine was leaning forward, wond down the front feet to level it up not been back since.Let us eat, drink, and be merry, because tomorrow we may die!

Re: C5000 ITB new Kit Fm1-k348-010 to prevent E075 Failure
There is a tech pub that talks about moving the levelers in the front up or down to get the right " twist " for the machine. The whole unit can be ordered now without any trouble or paper work so that is an option.
I still think we should be able to install an improvement kit where one is needed without confusion and trouble.Comment

Re: C5000 ITB new Kit Fm1-k348-010 to prevent E075 Failure
1. Set machine and finisher on 3/4 plywood (removes twist in machine frame) and requires cust approval. We usually bevel the edge and stain it so it looks nice.
2. Remove ITB ASSEMBLY, machine opening left side has a "factory"adjusted bracket in red screw lock. Depending on sub code, most commonly 0103, break the screw lock and push that sucker all the way up. Reinsert itb assembly.
Sometimes both are necessary
Run ITB-INIT, any value between -200 and +200 is good, it may even hit 0...Some people may say I have a short temper, but I prefer to call it
